Mobile App Developer (React Native / Expo)

About the Role

We're looking for a mobile developer to join our engineering team and contribute to our core business mobile application built with Expo (React Native). You'll be responsible for building, shipping, and maintaining features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain screens, components, and flows in our Expo/React Native app
• Integrate with backend REST APIs (OpenAPI-based)
• Manage client-side state with Zustand and server state with TanStack Query
• Write performant, clean UI code using React Native's StyleSheet API
• Implement animations with Reanimated where needed
• Work with native modules and platform-specific code (iOS / Android) where required
• Monitor and debug production issues using Sentry (error tracking, session replay)
• Collaborate on code reviews, architecture decisions, and shipping timelines

Required Skills

React Native / Expo - 1.5+ years of professional experience
React - Strong fundamentals, hooks, context, component lifecycle
REST APIs - Integration and async data management
State Management - Zustand, Redux, or similar
Native Modules - Comfortable working with native modules and platform-specific iOS/Android code
TypeScript - Comfortable working in a typed codebase
Figma - Comfortable reading and working directly from Figma designs
App Deployment - Shipped at least one app to the App Store or Google Play

Nice to Have

• Experience with TanStack Query (React Query)
• Familiarity with Reanimated or gesture-based animations
• Experience with Sentry or similar error monitoring tools
• Understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines (EAS Build, Fastlane, etc.)
• Eye for UI detail and ability to translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate screens
